下载或使用 Drifting App，或使用 Drifting Hosted 服务，即表示你同意以下条款。如果你不同意，请不要使用。Drifting 由两部分组成：开源的 Drifting App，以及由 Drifting 维护者另行运营的可选 Hosted 服务（账号、同步、分享链接和故障报告）。没有 Hosted 账号也可以在本机完整使用 App。
开源许可
Drifting App 的源代码以
GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 或更新版本（AGPL-3.0-or-later）发布，其中
packages/prose-metrics 单独以 Apache-2.0 发布。本条款不会减少这些许可证已经授予的权利。源代码许可证不包含
Hosted 服务的账号、使用额度或官方支持，也不允许绕过身份验证、频率限制、滥用防护或本条款。
商标
“Drifting”名称、Logo、App 图标以及 drifting.cc 等官方服务标识不因源代码开源而自动获得授权。你可以如实使用 Drifting 一词来指代本项目、说明兼容性或说明你的作品是一个分支，但不得暗示获得赞助、认可或官方身份。分发修改版时，请使用不同的产品名称，并替换 Logo、App 图标、Bundle ID、URL scheme、签名身份和官方服务地址。详见 商标政策。
早期开发阶段
Drifting 仍处于早期开发（Alpha）阶段。功能、数据格式和服务可能变化，也可能存在导致数据丢失的缺陷。Hosted
不提供服务等级协议（SLA），不保证持续可用、不间断或没有错误。同步不是备份：误删或错误的编辑同样会同步到其他设备。请定期导出
.drifting 备份，或保留其他独立副本。
Hosted 账号
注册 Hosted 账号需要验证邮箱。请提供你能收信的真实邮箱，妥善保管密码，并对账号下的活动负责；发现账号被他人使用时，请立即联系我们。
你的内容
你保留稿件、素材和其他内容的全部权利。为了提供 Hosted，你授予 Drifting 维护者一项有限的、非独占的、免费的许可，仅用于存储、备份、传输你的内容并在你的设备之间同步，以及在你创建分享链接时向持有链接的人展示该内容。删除内容或账号后，这项许可随之终止，但已有备份会在保留期内存在到过期为止。
你需要确保自己有权保存、上传和分享这些内容，包括导入的稿件、图片、PDF 和字体。
可接受的使用
使用 Hosted、分享链接和评论时，你不得：
- 上传或分享违法内容，或侵犯他人著作权、隐私等权利的内容；
- 通过分享链接或评论骚扰、威胁他人，或传播恶意软件、垃圾信息；
- 攻击、探测或干扰服务，或绕过身份验证、频率限制、存储配额等防护；
- 冒充他人或冒充官方 Drifting。
你要对通过分享链接公开的内容负责：任何拿到链接的人都能阅读它。读者要对自己发表的评论负责。我们可以删除违反本条款的分享内容或评论。
存储配额
每个 Hosted 账号目前有 500 MB 存储配额。超出后，App 会拒绝向同步项目导入新的图片或 PDF，正文和结构不受影响。服务端另设每个账号 1 GB 的总上限和单个对象 64 MB 的上限。用量可以在 设定 → 账号 中查看。配额将来可能调整。
AI 与第三方服务
Agent 是实验性功能，使用你自己的模型提供商账号和 API Key；费用、用量限制、数据政策和输出质量由你选择的提供商及其条款决定。“ChatGPT 订阅”路线通过 OpenAI 的 Codex 设备码登录使用你本人的 ChatGPT 账号。OpenAI 没有为第三方应用开放这条路径，因此它不受支持、计入你的 ChatGPT 套餐，并可能随时失效。
Agent 的输出可能不准确，也可能改坏你的稿件，请在接受修改前审阅。GitHub、Resend 等第三方服务的持续可用性和各自的政策不受 Drifting 控制。数据处理方式详见隐私政策。
暂停与终止
你可以随时停止使用 Hosted，并按隐私政策请求删除账号。如果你违反本条款、给服务或他人带来风险，或法律要求，我们可以暂停或终止你的账号或分享链接。我们也可能改进、修改或停止 Hosted 的部分功能。任何情况下，App 仍然可以在本机打开和编辑你的资料库。
免责声明
在适用法律允许的范围内，Drifting App 和 Hosted 服务均按“现状”和“可用状态”提供，不附带任何明示或默示的保证，包括适销性、特定用途适用性和不侵权。AGPL 许可证中的免责条款同样适用于源代码。
责任限制
请保留重要稿件的独立备份。在适用法律允许的最大范围内，Drifting 及其维护者对因使用或无法使用 App 或 Hosted、设备故障、第三方服务、AI 输出或数据丢失造成的间接或后果性损失不承担责任。本条款不排除法律不得排除的权利或责任。

By downloading or using the Drifting app, or using the Drifting Hosted service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. Drifting has two parts: the open-source Drifting app, and the optional Hosted service (account, sync, share links and crash reports) that the Drifting maintainer operates separately. The app works fully on your Mac without a Hosted account.
Open-source license
The Drifting app's source code is released under the
GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later (AGPL-3.0-or-later),
except packages/prose-metrics, which is licensed separately under Apache-2.0.
These terms do not reduce rights those licenses already grant. The source license does not
include a Hosted account, service capacity or official support, and does not permit
bypassing authentication, rate limits, abuse controls or these terms.
Trademarks
The Drifting name, logo, app icon and official service identities such as drifting.cc are not licensed with the source code. You may use the word Drifting truthfully to identify the project, describe compatibility or state that your work is a fork, but not to suggest sponsorship, endorsement or official status. If you distribute a modified build, use a distinct product name and replace the logo, app icon, bundle identifier, URL scheme, signing identity and official service endpoints. See the trademark policy.
Early development
Drifting is in early (Alpha) development. Features, data formats and the service may change,
and defects may cause data loss. Hosted has no service level agreement and no promise of
continuous, uninterrupted or error-free availability. Sync is not a backup: a mistaken
deletion or edit syncs to your other devices too. Export a .drifting backup
regularly or keep other independent copies.
Hosted account
A Hosted account requires a verified email address. Use an address you can receive mail at, keep your password safe, and take responsibility for activity under your account; contact us right away if someone else is using it.
Your content
You keep all rights to your manuscripts, materials and other content. To provide Hosted, you grant the Drifting maintainer a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license only to store, back up, transmit and sync your content between your devices, and to display it to people who hold a share link you create. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except that existing backups remain until they expire.
You are responsible for having the right to store, upload and share your content, including imported manuscripts, images, PDFs and fonts.
Acceptable use
When you use Hosted, share links and comments, you may not:
- upload or share illegal content, or content that infringes copyright, privacy or other rights;
- harass or threaten anyone, or spread malware or spam, through share links or comments;
- attack, probe or disrupt the service, or bypass authentication, rate limits, storage quotas or other safeguards;
- impersonate another person or an official Drifting build or service.
You are responsible for what you publish through a share link: anyone who has the link can read it. Readers are responsible for the comments they post. We may remove shared content or comments that violate these terms.
Storage quota
Each Hosted account currently has a 500 MB storage quota. Beyond it, the app refuses to import new images or PDFs into synced projects; prose and structure are not affected. The service also enforces a 1 GB total limit per account and a 64 MB limit per object. You can see your usage in Settings → Account. Quotas may change.
AI and third-party services
The Agent is experimental and uses your own model-provider account and API keys; costs, usage limits, data policies and output quality are governed by the provider you choose and its terms. The ChatGPT subscription route signs in to your own ChatGPT account through OpenAI's Codex device login. OpenAI offers no third-party contract for this path, so it is unsupported, counts against your ChatGPT plan, and may stop working without notice.
Agent output can be inaccurate or damage your manuscript; review changes before accepting them. Drifting does not control the continued availability or independent policies of third-party services such as GitHub or Resend. See the Privacy Policy for data handling details.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Hosted at any time and ask for account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate an account or share link that violates these terms, puts the service or others at risk, or where the law requires it. We may also improve, change or discontinue parts of Hosted. In every case the app can still open and edit your library on your Mac.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the Drifting app and the Hosted service are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The disclaimers in the AGPL also apply to the source code.
Limitation of liability
Keep independent backups of important manuscripts. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drifting and its maintainer are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use or inability to use the app or Hosted, device failure, third-party services, AI output, or data loss. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that law does not allow to be excluded.
